Upon graduation from BHGH, a child is equipped with a college preparatory education; has demonstrated they can succeed in a structured, disciplined program; has learned respect, honesty and hard work; has participated in many extracurricular activities, camps, community service projects and has held a part-time job. A BHGH graduate is positioned to attend essentially any college he or she chooses. Most of our youth are offered academic scholarships, and all qualify for federal grants based on financial need.
Beyond equipping a child to realize their dream of attending college, BHGH aims to provide them with the resources, experiences and opportunities to allow them to become kind, caring, responsible, grateful adults who have the self-confidence and inspiration to give back to their communities and society in the future.
100% of Arizona graduates have been admitted to college, while 97% of Arizona Boy Hope Girls Hope scholars are or will be the first in their families to attend college.
